SEABOB is seeking a dynamic and organized bilingual Commercial Assistant to support our team with administrative and communication tasks in the Service and Sales departments. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess strong organizational skills, and have a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively in both languages and provide exceptional customer service, with clientele in the US, Caribbean and South America. The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds occasionally. Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate who feels comfortable with handling multiple tasks over a cloud-based platform and is tech savvy, with knowledge of computers, mobile devices, Microsoft Office and other programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Process service tickets and accurate quotes to service customers on SAP
  • Process sales quotes and sales orders based on customer inquiries
  • Provide accurate and helpful information to customers regarding product features, specifications, availability, pricing and shipping
  • Assist the sales and service department's managers on an array of duties
  • Attend and represent SEABOB at local and international trade shows and events
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products/services and company policies
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree is preferred, but not obligatory
  • Attend and represent SEABOB at local and international trade shows and events
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Tech savvy and able to process some technical information related to parts and electronics
  • Knowledge of cloud-based platform SAP is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-pressure situations
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to travel local and internationally, and on occasion work on weekends or extended hours
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds
