HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigeration lines, electrical wiring, and control systems, according to specifications and building codes.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts as necessary.
Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, such as leaks, mechanical failures, and electrical issues, using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly and adjust as needed to achieve optimal performance.
Respond to service calls from clients in a timely manner and address their HVAC-related concerns with professionalism and expertise.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems, including parts used, labor hours, and service invoices.
Stay up to date on the latest advancements in HVAC technology and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Collaborate with other team members, including contractors, engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless coordination on HVAC installation and repair projects.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of oneself and others.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their questions and concerns, and offering guidance on proper HVAC system maintenance.
Essential Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC certification program or apprenticeship preferred.
Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair HVAC system issues effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing maintenance and repair tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary.
