Position Summary:

The Service Technician will be accountable for the repair, maintenance, and installation of sampling, flow monitoring, and valve actuation equipment at client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostics and repairs on sampling and flow monitoring equipment to prevent issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and operational assessments on equipment.
  • Respond to urgent service requests during and outside regular hours.
  • Program and troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based control systems.
  • Address technical issues raised by customers effectively.
  • Initiate and resolve startup and troubleshooting processes for equipment.
  • Engage with clients on-site to foster strong relationships.
  • Travel as necessary to support fellow technicians.
  • Complete and submit daily reports and maintenance logs to clients and administrative teams.
  • Prepare annual and semi-annual service quotes, along with one-time repair estimates.
  • Deliver on-site training to clients as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Instrumentation and adept at problem-solving.
  • Basic knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Competent in using computers and service-related software.
  • Reside in the designated service area.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Frequent local travel is an essential aspect of this role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous experience in a service-oriented organization is preferred.
  • Must successfully pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Refrigeration experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A valid, unexpired driver's license is required.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
