About the Company
COS Business Products & Interiors is local to Chattanooga, TN, with over 70 proud years of dedication to providing our customers with exceptional white glove service. From design to showroom ready, furniture to file folders, we are committed to ensuring nothing less than exceptional service to the Chattanooga community and beyond. We have a rare opportunity to join our team as a Furniture Project Management Representative. This is a full-time, on-site position at our offices located on Riverside Drive.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales Team, Warehouse Manager and Installation Technicians to ensure on-time delivery and installation of product to meet established project timelines for completion
- Issue purchase orders and monitor shipment(s) from vendors to ensure timely delivery to project deadlines
- Preparation of documents needed for invoicing upon project completion
- Work with Vendors to facilitate a timely resolution to any discrepancies in billing, delivery or purchase orders
- Tracking and reporting on project from onset to completion of furniture installation
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills, both internally and externally
- Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization professionally and build a report with all stakeholders of a project either in person, by phone or by email
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to problem solve with attention to detail
- Must possess a positive attitude and possess a willingness to learn and take direction for professional growth
- Ability to prioritize work accordingly and follow through on projects assigned
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced typing and computer skills
- Knowledge of Sharepoint, Vibenet or Giza are a plus
- Available to work overtime at month end as needed to reach target goal
