Job Description:

 

As the Lawn Maintenance Foreman, you will lead our lawn maintenance team in delivering top-quality maintenance services to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

 

1. Team Leadership and Supervision:

   - Lead and supervise a team of lawn maintenance technicians, ensuring they adhere to company standards and procedures.

   - Delegate tasks efficiently to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.

   - Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their maintenance skills and efficiency.

 

2. Lawn Maintenance Operations:

   - Oversee all aspects of maintenance operations, including mowing, pruning, weeding, etc.

   - Conduct regular inspections of mowing equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.

 

3. Client Interaction:

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their lawn care preferences and address any concerns or                    special requests.

   - Provide regular updates on mowing schedules and project progress to maintain positive client relationships.

   - Collaborate with the Maintenance Production Manager and Account Managers to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

   - Relay concerns to Maintenance Production Manager effectively to address customer issues.

 

4. Equipment Management:

   -  Manage and maintain mowing equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools.

   -  Coordinate with the Maintenance Production Manager to procure necessary supplies, parts, and equipment for maintenance projects.

   - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

 

5. Safety and Compliance:

   - Enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for the team.

   - Adhere to local regulations and environmental guidelines related to lawn care activities.

   - Provide ongoing training and support to promote safety awareness and compliance among team members.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

- Proficient knowledge of lawn care techniques, equipment operation, and turf grass management.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Certification in lawn care or related field (preferred).

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
