Full-Time Call Center Representative

About the role:

Following the completion of paid training, your responsibilities will involve communication with responsible parties, identifying solutions, and setting up payment arrangements. This role requires comfort and proficiency in working with responsible parties through challenging situations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a Collections, Sales, Retail or Customer Service industry
  • Minimum of 6 months computer experience required, utilizing applications in a Windows-based environment
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficient phone communication and verbal skills, with the ability to actively listen
  • Adaptability to various personality types
  • Strong multitasking abilities, adept at setting priorities and time management
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment
  • Have a passion for helping people by solving problems, presenting, and explaining solutions

 Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

·         Work in a call center environment that requires 100% phone-based interaction

  • Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, while staying engaged with the contacted party
  • Handle conflict resolution with empathy and professionalism
  • Maintain effective communication while explaining any consequences for failure to reach resolution.
  • Perform effectively in a metrics-driven environment
  • Update and maintain accurate records of each interactions, payment arrangements, and any other relevant information in MCOA’s database
  • Works both independently and in a team environment
  • Abide by all applicable regulatory and departmental practices and procedures
