Job DescriptionJob Description

Rondo-Pak is seeking an experienced HR Manager to become part of the team. This role will manage policies, procedures and activities of the Human Resources (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy, human resources programs, policies, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, personnel record keeping, workers compensation, safety, training, insurance (business lines) management, workforce development and compliance with HR laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement company culture, values and policies
  • Grow workforce strategies, to recruit and develop qualified candidates
  • Promote employee advancement/ employee recognition efforts
  • Advocate for employee retention and development (maintain and improve apprenticeship program).
  • Manage data entry and maintenance of employee records
  • Manage New Hire Orientation Process
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with the workforce, and resource personnel internal and external.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related discipline
  • At least five years of professional experience across all HR disciplines, including employment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and development, workers compensation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience working in a printing environment is preferred.
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce.
  • Decisive and self-confident
  • Payroll experience Preferred
  • Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) Preferred
