Territory Sales Support Representative

We are an Italian tile manufacturer with a state of the art facility in Tennessee. 

We are looking for a Territory Sales Support Representation to sell design focused flooring products within a regional territory (TN, IL, IN, OH, W.VA/VA, KY).  Would love to have this individual based around Knoxville, TN area or near by Loudon,TN.   The ideal candidates will have 3-5+ years of experience selling flooring products ( tile preferred) and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high production environment. They will help maintain and build upon existing accounts and work to forge new and lasting partnerships.

Applicants must possess a positive and energetic attitude and exceptional customer service and communication skills. Must be extremely detailed and have the ability to meet or exceed customers' expectations. Must have a professional demeanor and ability to present yourself well to the public.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain deep relationships with clients, understand their challenges and needs.
  • Ability to develop and grow a book of new business, and existing accounts under your command.
  • Influence, delegate, and communicate, in a deadline driven environment, ensuring sound planning, exceptional service, and a solid client relationship.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of activities carried out on behalf of assigned clients; change plans as necessary to produce results.
  • Meet regularly with management team to share the status of accounts and troubleshoot any challenges.
  • Provide scheduled tours at the plant on occassion (so living fairly close to the plant is helpful) 

Qualifications Required:

  • Flooring sales experience ( tile preferred)
  • Self-motivated
  • Negotiation skills
  • Experience developing, cultivating, and closing opportunities with clients
  • Pre-existing relationships
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and client communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent working knowledge of ERP, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and others as required
