Job Summary

We are looking for a hard-working and committed In-Plant Technician to join our client's team. In-Plant Technicians are essential for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing significantly to the overall success of the manufacturing operations.

 

Job Description

  • Provide technical assistance and support to the plant's production team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, processes, and materials.
  • Conduct routine tests and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
  • Report any quality issues and assist in corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all machinery is functioning properly.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated and operating according to specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits.
  • Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.

 

Skills Required

  • Highschool diploma / GED
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials used in the plant.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Keen eye for detail, particularly in quality control and documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using technical tools and software relevant to the industry.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or technical support role, preferably within the same industry.
