Insurance industry or agency experience and knowledge is not required but would be a greater benefit relating to customers in the beginning for this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Process customer policy change requests.
• Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
• Play an active, productive role towards achieving the Agency goals

Job Requirements

• Four-year college degree highly preferred. High school diploma required.
• Licensure (current) in P&C and Life/Health preferred.
• Work experience in project coordination, customer engagement and team driven environments highly preferred.
• Thrives in a fast paced, metrics-oriented environment.
• Basic PC and basic math skills, strong analytical capability, conflict resolution skills, bilingual capabilities (preferred) and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Career minded vision.
• Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
• Be able and willing to obtain Property & Casualty Insurance and Life & Health Insurance licenses within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
• Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
