Associate Attorney

David A. Gallo & Associates LLP, established in 1986, is seeking for a contested attorney to work in our midsized Law Firm in Manhasset, NY., steps from the Manhasset train station.
RESPONSIBILITES
· Manage and handle case load of foreclosure and real estate litigation on behalf of mortgage servicers and investors.
· Oral arguments on motions, court conferences, and possible courtroom hearings, as necessary for successful client advocacy
· Significant motion practice including summary judgment motions, opposition to motions to dismiss, opposition to show cause orders, and discovery demands/responses.
· Draft and collaborate with support staff for preparation and execution of documents to be signed by the client, filed with the court and/or Research and analyze difficult client cases and collaborate with partners as to client advice and potential resolution.
· Work with and oversee support staff.
REQUIRMENTS
· J.D. Degree, bar license in good standing
· Applicants must be admitted in New York (NJ is a plus) for at least one-year, motion practice experience strongly preferred.
