Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a Medicare Customer Service Representative to join our client for a remote opportunity (must be located within 1 hour of Philadelphia, PA) As a Medicare Customer Service Representative, you will address benefit, eligibility, and claims inquiries via telephone, internet, or written correspondence. This Contract opportunity offers $18/Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve inquiries based on phone calls, emails, or letters from members, providers, and plan sponsors.
  • Direct and triage work to the appropriate departments or staff as necessary.
  • Accurately document interactions with members, providers, and others to track reasons for contact and identify trends.
  • Stay informed about and comply with corporate policies and procedures, as well as remain current on industry data.
  • Thoroughly review claims history to ensure accurate tracking of benefit maximums, coinsurance, and deductibles.
  • Utilize relevant system tools and resources to create quality letters and spreadsheets in response to inquiries.
  • Consistently provide world-class service to both internal and external customers.


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in call centers and customer service is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications related to the role.
  • Knowledge of Medicare policies and regulations is preferred.
  • Health insurance/healthcare experience is a plus.
