We seek a highly skilled and experienced Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist with proficiency in Athena One to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid medical billing and accounts receivable management background, with specific experience using Athena One software.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including billing, collections, and follow-up activities. ALL IN ATHENA ONE
- Utilize Athena One software to process claims, track payments, and resolve outstanding balances.
- Review and analyze patient accounts to identify billing discrepancies and insurance denials.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues and expedite payment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all billing and collections activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline revenue cycle processes and optimize reimbursement.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies that may impact accounts receivable operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and account resolutions.
