Technical Project Manager

 

TBM Technology Consulting, LLC is looking for a Technical Project Manager to provide project management functions including technical leadership, quality assurance, project scheduling and tracking, and decision-oriented recommendations. Candidates must have experience in Information Technology (IT) systems to include data gathering and analysis, system development, Testing & Evaluation, and system deployment. This position will be in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). You will be part of a talented team of professionals that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical solutions.

Requirements

· Contract level program management oversight

· Excellent communication skills

· Interface directly with Government leads for all supported areas

· Technical leadership for a large team of professionals

· Ability to delegate and track responsibilities

· Quality Assurance

· Focus on staff development

· Resource management

· Provide decision support through phase gate reviews for project sponsors, decision makers and key stakeholders

· Ensure entrance criteria for phase gate reviews are met

· Document governance decisions and track action items

· Advise project teams on Transition to Operations expectations

· Maintain integrated master schedule of project milestones using MS project or similar

· Monitor resource conflicts across the project portfolio

· Establish and monitor project artifact and documentation management

· Manage Testing & Evaluation (T&E) efforts

· Develop T&E strategies and methodologies

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· At least 3 years of experience managing technical projects

· Experience working in the Department of Defense desirable

· Systems Engineering background desirable

Certifications

· DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliant required (IAT Level III preferred)

· PMP (Highly preferred but not required)

Clearance

· Minimum of an Active DoD Secret
