Title - Accounting Specialist
Location - Raleigh, NC (hybrid remote)
Duration - 3 month with possible extension
Responsibilities -

  • This role will be 70% accounting support and 30% payroll processing
  • Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using UKG HRIS on a biweekly schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy for both exempt and non exempt employees
  • Calculate and process adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related payments.
  • Generate payroll reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes including but not limited to; benefit deductions, 401k, HSA/FSA.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Assist with payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications -

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • 1+ years of General Ledger, Account Reconciliation, and Journal Entry experience required
  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience using Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) is a huge plus
