Overview

The Senior Wealth Planning Associate will work with Wealth Advisors on serving existing and new client relationships in the areas of investment advisory, financial and estate planning, and tax preparation and planning. They will assist in strengthening client relationships through preparation of various deliverables as well as help in developing and managing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and attend client meetings.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans to include balance sheets and financial projections.
  • Prepare estate flow charts.
  • Prepare individual, trust, gift, partnership, and foundation income tax returns.
  • Prepare and review tax projections, estimated payments and other necessary tax planning.
  • Complete complex tax research to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Research and respond to tax notices.
  • Review and approve client bill pay, bookkeeping and payroll where applicable.
  • Assist with account maintenance, asset allocations and quarterly reports.
  • Communicate with clients on behalf of Wealth Advisors.
  • Assist with managing and recruiting interns.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • CPA, CFA or CFP designation or working towards completion of designation.
  • Strong work ethic, strong organization skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Intellectually curious, organized, excellent analytical skills, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a desire to work collaboratively.
