Personal Assistant to Retired Entrepreneur (Miami Area)

An entrepreneur/investor in the Miami area (Key Biscayne, FL) is seeking a highly organized and experienced personal assistant to manage a range of personal, household, and business-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and managing multiple properties and vehicles, including overseeing maintenance crews.

  • Handling travel reservations.

  • Coordinating with attorneys, accountants, and other business associates.

  • Bookkeeping and bill payments, shopping, and general errands.

  • ,Handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.

  • Ability to hire and quality check work by maintennce and remodeling contractors, handy men and cleaning crew 

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Exhibits exceptional work ethic as a core value.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with comfort driving for errands and other tasks.

  • Tech-savvy, with experience troubleshooting basic technology issues (e.g., smart home devices, office technology).

  • Physically capable of handling tasks such as shopping and organizing, including the ability to lift packages up to 25 lbs.

  • Able to manage crises and unexpected issues calmly and efficiently, including travel disruptions or property emergencies.

  • In addition to normal lunch breaks the candidate will be given two half hour a day during work to attend his/her own personal tasks

Education & Experience:

  • College or associate degree in business, accounting, entraprenourship or a related field.

  • At least five years of full time work experience is required and ideally at least two years as a personal assistant .

Work Location:

  • Primary work location is the employer's residence in Key Biscayne, FL.

Travel:

  • Availability to travel to the Boston area occasionally is a plus and will be compensated additionally.

Compensation:

  • Competitive and negotiable based on experience, with generous benefits.
