Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate and process loan applications. Your responsibilities will include interviewing applicants to gather financial information, evaluating creditworthiness, and completing loan contracts. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills and a deep understanding of current lending practices and regulations. Responsibilities 
  • Process loan applications
  • Set up debt payment plans
  • Report on financing decisions
  • Take mortgage applications from application to close
  • Work with the borrower and underwriting team to clear loan conditions
  • provide updates to loan officers and 3rd parties on application status
  • Assist clients in understanding the terms and conditions of their contracts
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current financial services and types of loans
  • Keep detailed records for all accounts
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field or related experience, no DEGREE necessary
  • Previous experience as a Loan Processor is preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, databases, and loan processing and banking software
  • Knowledge of lending products and practices
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a goal-oriented environment
