The Motorcycle Sales Manager at Central California Powersports Dealership is a key individual contributor role responsible for overseeing the sales floor operations and performance of the product specialists. This position requires a dynamic and driven individual with a strong passion for motorcycles and off- road vehicles and sales, who is able to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service. As the Sales Manager, you will work closely with the sales team to facilitate sales, greet perspective purchasers, manage the sales floor inventory, and ensure a positive and efficient customer experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary plus commission structure. The compensation will be based on experience and paid semi-monthly. In addition to the salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, employee discounts, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the product specialists on the sales floor

  • Present options, features and benefits as well as closing perspective buyers

  • Ensure the sales floor inventory of motorcycles is maintained and displayed properly

  • Train and coach sales staff to improve their performance and achieve sales goals

  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Promote and facilitate sales test rides

  • Perform estimates and values for trade-in vehicles

  • Aptitude to desk deals and desire to further your career

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required

  • Retail experience in motorcycle or automotive sales

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and providing excellent customer service

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of knowledge and passion for motorcycles and off-road vehicles and the industry

  • Familiarity with CRM and inventory management software

 

  • Must have a valid driver's license, motorcycle endorsement, and a safe driving record

  • Ability to obtain a California Sales License
