Summary: The Bilingual Call Center Representative is an essential member of the Alcohol & Drug Program (ADP) team supporting the Safety Centers DUI program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
\tTake calls from program participants get accurate contact information, identify needs, and provide timely answers to their questions.
\tProvide guidance in navigating to the website and other resources to provide access to the information needed.
\tDe-escalate situations by listening with empathy, acknowledging concerns, and focusing on appropriate solutions.
\tCollaborate with other Call Center staff to continuously improve processes needed to support C.A.R.E. team members and provide a positive participant experience.
\tMinimize, on-hold wait time, hang-ups, dropped calls, and voicemail messages.
\tOther duties as required to meet the needs of our clients, our employees, and the Safety Center as a whole.
\tRegular, predictable attendance is required.
\tAbility to get along and work effectively with others.
Requirements of Successful Candidates:
\tBilingual (Russian or Spanish)
\tRegular, predictable attendance
\tExperience using internet software, including Zoom and video conferencing technology
\tKnowledge of basic office equipment should include Internet and email, copy and fax machines, postage meter, and telephone.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:
\tHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
\tAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
\tAbility to write simple correspondence.
\tAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
