Job Description:

As a Digital Merchandiser for Shopify and Amazon, you will play a critical role in maximizing product visibility, optimizing listings, and enhancing the overall online shopping experience for our customers. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure that our products are effectively presented and promoted across these e-commerce platforms. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Listing Optimization: Create and manage product listings on Shopify and Amazon platforms, ensuring that they are accurately and compellingly presented to drive sales.

2. Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to optimize product titles, descriptions, and tags for improved search visibility and ranking on both platforms.

3. Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging product descriptions, images, and videos that highlight key features and benefits.

4. Pricing Strategy: Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust product pricing strategies for maximum competitiveness and profitability.

5. Inventory Management: Coordinate with the operations team to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.

6. Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as sales conversion rates, traffic sources, and customer feedback, to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

7. A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on product listings, images, and promotional strategies to identify best practices and drive continuous improvement.

8. Customer Engagement: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and reviews on Shopify and Amazon, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or issues.

9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with platform policies and guidelines, including product categorization, image requirements, and advertising regulations.

10. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in e-commerce merchandising to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using Shopify and Amazon Seller Central or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization techniques.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in e-commerce merchandising or digital marketing is a plus, but not required.
