We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in growing gross margin from both new and existing accounts. This role requires a proactive approach to acquiring new accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The Inside Sales Representative will report directly to the President and will collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure exceptional customer service and company performance.

Responsibilities
 

  • Develop strategies to maximize gross margin from new and existing accounts.

  • Identify opportunities to increase profitability through cold calls, upselling, cross-selling, and effective account management.

  • Conduct on-site customer sales calls, ensuring each interaction is productive and aligns with sales objectives.

  • Schedule sit-down appointments to present products/services and address client needs.

  • Make courtesy calls to both new and existing accounts, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities for additional sales.

  • Provide regular updates to the President regarding sales activities, performance metrics, and market trends.

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategies for achieving sales targets and company objectives.

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and exceptional customer experiences.

  • Communicate customer feedback, market insights, and competitor activities to relevant stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

  • Actively participate in sales meetings to discuss strategies, share best practices, and address challenges.

  • Contribute ideas and insights to enhance sales processes and achieve collective goals.

  • Up to 30% Travel to assist in coverage with the Regional Sales Representative.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Strong background in Customer Service.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
