We are seeking a Property Manager to continue to move our 8 acre condominium association forward with competence, energy and experience in hospitality management.  We have been voted the best rental property on Galveston Island, with 2 pools, a spa, Clubhouse and a location within 2 miles of all Galveston's most impressive vacation activities.  Our property is on the famous Seawall Blvd, on the beaches.

The successful candidate will have:

  • minimum 5 years experience with successive responsibility in large condominium projects
  • significant experience in accounting applications such as Quickbooks
  • excellent communication capabilities with property owners (not renters)
  • Professional certification or in transition to a recognized professional hospitality management organization
  • Excellent understanding of up-to-date methods of business networking (networking)
  • experience in managing maintenance vendors
  • experience in keeping accurate condominium records as required by Texas law
  • strong management skills necessary to successfully train (or have trained), supervise and motivate our small staff
  • able to technically converse with al. ranges of vendors such as plumbing, HVAC, Electrical and landscaping

Desired Candidate Skills and Achievements

  • Associates degree in Business desired, Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Management or other closely related field
  • CMCA professional certification
  • highly competent in SharePoint, Microsoft Office studio (Word, Excel, Access)
  • excellent at creating viable solutions to consistently unusual and quite normal business problems
