Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Team Member to join our team. This full-time position is based at a single location in the Seattle area, with a Monday through Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently to maintain a spotless facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and office areas.
  • Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Operate janitorial equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with special projects and deep cleaning tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles preferred.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stoop, bend and reach as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check.
Compensation and More:
  • Competitive hourly pay: $18-$22/hour DOE
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
  • Location: On-site role based in the Seattle, WA area.
