PM Technician weekend shift

We're currently hiring for a factory PM Technician at our manufacturing facility in Lavergne TN 37086. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's manufacturing equipment related to memory foam products (bed toppers, pillows, and mattresses). Duties include:
- Maintain and repair equipment in compliance with company standards, local and state requirements, as well as OSHA standards.
- Diagnose, test, and repair all manufacturing equipment.
- Repair ancillary equipment as needed.
- Install equipment and or replacement parts.
- Operate and or fill in on production line(s) as needed.
- Supervise Production Shift(s) as needed.
- Complete all necessary reports & communications as required.
Below are the requirements for this position:
- Comfortable with using common hand and power tools in a safe manner.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical materials and procedures.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors and operations, verbally and in writing.
- Willing and able to take and follow instruction and direction while learning from others.
- Should be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize work.
- Willingness to cross train and assist other areas as needed.
- Ability to multi-task with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work long hours during peak periods.
- Forklift Certification
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficient – Outlook, Excel, Word
Shift hours: Fir-Sun 6:00am-6:30pm
