The Service Manager will ensure the safety and satisfaction of residents while preserving and improving physical assets. This role requires expertise in various maintenance tasks including mechanical systems, carpentry, appliance repair, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical system repairs including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
- Conduct carpentry repairs, roofing, and siding inspections.
- Manage maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Supervise subordinate employees and vendors.
- Ensure timely completion of service orders and apartment turns.
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in budget control and staff management.
- Address property liability concerns and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with Property Manager and Corporate Office on major repairs and projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years experience in property maintenance or related field.
- Ability to lift 80-100 lbs and work in various physical environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Positive attitude and strong team player.
- Familiarity with OSHA and Fair Housing regulations preferred.
