Our company is currently seeking ​a Bookkeeper Accounts Payable to join our team You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company. Once established this position can be a hybrid role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Precise coding and data entry of payables in a multi-state sales environment

  • Receives and verifies invoices and expense reports, reconciling them to Vendor Account Balances or other Accounting records

  • Maintain W-9 forms for new vendors to insure 1099 compliance

  • Accurate maintenance of filing systems

  • Order Tracking Updates and Assist with Order Purchasing

  • General Customer Service

  • Obtaining supporting documents for Bid Packages as needed

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Package i.e.: word, excel, outlook. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple activities and priorities, while maintaining a sense of urgency to meet or exceed management needs.

  • Superior English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with QuickBooks and Team Design is a plus.

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and resourceful.

  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

  • Highly dependable, efficient, and detail oriented.

  • Love of learning and desire to grow with the company.

  • Follows Edwards & Hill policies and procedures.

  • Honest, ethical and professional.

  • Knowledge of the office furniture industry is preferred.

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting Degree preferred
