Job Summary: Oversee all aspects of vehicle prep, excluding mechanical readiness, for all program and fleet vehicles operated at FPRS East, Inc.


What you will do:

  • Supervise and guide the day-to-day job duties of the Vehicle Prep staff, ensuring FPRS standards of safety, quality, and professionalism are met
  • Maintain an efficient process of cleaning and prepping vehicles
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all vehicles – general use and program prep
  • Oversee vehicle fuel program – ensure vehicle fuel needs completed, coordinate with fuel provider, management of logs and reporting
  • Direct and assist with the movement of vehicles for FPRS East programs as needed
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver staff training program – both new hire and ongoing
  • Assist with off-site errands and various transportation needs
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of FPRS East and its programs
  • Work in conjunction with Shop Supervisor towards:
  • Consistency of standards, guest experience, processes, and procedures
  • Information sharing and joint problem solving
Requirements:

Knowledge and Skills you possess:

  • High School Graduate
  • 3+ years of management/supervisor experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft suites programs such as Excel & Word
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in the most productive and/or appropriate manner
  • Outstanding ability to interact well with employees, contractors, and guests
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate outstanding hospitality/guest service
  • Ability to make quick, sound decisions based on facts, possessing creative thinking skills
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software
  • Ability to maintain safe and organized working areas
  • Ability to Buff, and Wax vehicles with an emphasis on low-to-moderate paint corrections
  • Develop a strong knowledge of car cleaning products and chemicals
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission

Expectations

  • Adhere to an event-driven work schedule - shifts ranging between 12PM-10PM
  • Primarily Monday-Friday, with evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
  • Maintain a positive attitude and show respect for others
  • Maintain current valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass background and drug screening

Physical Demands

  • Often required to work long hours and be available when needed or as business requires (including nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Often on your feet for long periods of time
  • Able to work in all types of weather
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds unassisted
  • Moderate to high levels of stress may be associated with this position
