Job Description:

Position Summary: The Metal Finisher will be responsible for preparing and finishing metal components to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various finishing tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform grinding, sanding, polishing, and other finishing techniques on metal parts.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and design specifications.
  • Operate and maintain finishing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine finishing requirements.
  • Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in metal surfaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Metal Finisher or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using finishing tools and equipment such as grinders, sanders, and polishers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
