At Ranger Logistics USA (RLU), we specialize in providing private charter passenger screening. Our commitment to safety and security ensures that all passengers experience seamless journeys from start to finish. In this position, you will be responsible for contributing to the client's security apparatus at each job location and the overall aviation security network.

Responsibilities

  • ID verification
  • Inspect individuals and their accessible property for the presence of defined prohibited items
  • Safe operation of handheld metal detector (HHMD), and electronic walkthrough metal detector (WTMD)
  • Pat-down individuals and conducting a physical when necessary
  • Lift up to 40 lbs., reach, handle, twist, bend, and kneel as required during each shift (2-3hr)
  • Treat information at your disposal with extreme confidentiality
  • Communicate and treat customers with respect
  • Any other duties assigned

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 0 - 1 year experience as a security operative
  • Must be 18 years or older and be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or possess valid work authorization document
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug-alcohol screening
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible schedules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions and noise

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior military, law enforcement, or government security experience
  • Experience working in aviation/airline operating environments
  • Familiarity with execution and management of aviation security programs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting observations
  • Customer focused, adaptable and willing to work flexible hours

Benefits

Compensation

The hourly rate for this role is $20 - $35. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RLU considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
