MEDICAL ASSISTANT for Aesthetics practice in SANTA MONICA. Full Time, Permanent position

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Room patients, take medical history & reason for the visit
  • Assist with lasers, injectables, body contouring, medical spa services and acne/rosacea treatments
  • Maintain rooms, medical supplies, and patient charts
  • Answer questions about treatments and products, prepare patients for treatments
  • Assist Front Office by greeting patients, making and confirming appointments, collecting payments. Insurance verification, call in prescriptions, help with procedure questions and instructions. (No blood draw or injections handled in this role)

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years' prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a private medical office
  • Have an interest in learning the non-invasive full body elective procedures and professional skincare products offered by the practice to educate patients
  • Professional appearance, good communication skills, computer proficient
  • History of being punctual & dependable
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced schedule, prioritize appropriately, and be proactive with job duties
  • No blood draw or injections experience required

SCHEDULE and COMPENSATION

  • Monday - Friday 9a-5p
  • $22-25/hr depending on experience
