Job Title: Senior Director of Treatment Services
Overview: As the Senior Director of Treatment Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of treatment programs within our organization. This leadership role requires strategic thinking, strong management skills, and a deep commitment to providing high-quality care to our clients. You will collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote the mission and values of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the treatment services department.
- Supervise and support a team of managers and clinicians, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and development.
Program Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement treatment programs that align with best practices and meet the needs of our clients.
- Evaluate existing programs and services to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.
Quality Assurance and Improvement:
- Establish quality assurance processes to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services.
- Analyze data and outcomes to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care and client outcomes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure integrated care and seamless service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with staff, clients, families, and external partners to promote transparency and engagement.
- Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and community events related to treatment services.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to optimize revenue and reduce costs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and board of directors.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Doctoral degree preferred.
- Licensed or certified as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the field of behavioral health or substance abuse treatment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, Joint Commission).
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and grant writing is a plus.
