Junior Paralegal

We are seeking a Junior Paralegal to join our Plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice firm. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in pre-litigation and litigation support. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys while also requiring the ability to handle tasks independently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation and pre-litigation matters.
- Perform basic paralegal functions such as drafting and answering discovery, preparing pleadings, and conducting legal research.
- Maintain case files using our case management system.
- Manage docketing and deadlines to ensure timely filings.
- E-file documents in various courts as required.
- Schedule hearings, depositions, and other appointments.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm setting, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with case management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Position initially requires on-site presence, with potential for remote work days for the right candidate.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
