They are seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to support their senior executives and contribute to their mission of building market-leading healthcare companies.


Job Summary: As a Junior Paralegal / Compliance Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the legal and compliance teams in managing regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and assisting with various legal matters. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the private equity industry and develop your career in legal and compliance. Our client is looking for someone with previous financial services industry experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Legal Support:
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support the legal team.
  • Maintain and update corporate records, databases, and legal files.
  • Assist in the management of legal due diligence for potential investments and acquisitions.
  1. Compliance Support:
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and assist in updating compliance practices accordingly.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Provide administrative support to the legal and compliance teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate legal and compliance processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the protection of sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably within the financial services or private equity industry.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the private equity sector.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
