Bookkeeper/Office Assistant

We are seeking an experienced, upbeat, bookkeeper/office assistant for our Lutz service company. Our exceptional service begins with our office staff. We are looking for friendly, energetic, efficient, organized, experienced office personnel to incorporate into our team. Candidates must be computer and tech savvy with experience using Quickbooks, Outlook,
Microsoft Office Applications, iphones, and multi-line phones, as well as adapt to new technology as required. We are also looking for someone who learns quickly on the job and has excellent phone and customer service skills. Accounts receivable/payable, payroll, data entry, filing, and email are some of the tasks needed performed. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Enjoy interacting with people in-person, via telephone and email
  • Discrete

 

Daily duties will include:

  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Answering multi-line phones
  • Taking detailed messages and providing to appropriate recipient
  • Preparing quotes/conducting research
  • Scheduling appointments/Project Management
  • Dispatch Service Calls
  • Data Entry
  • Filing
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in fast-paced office atmosphere (construction company preferred)
  • References and clean background check
  • Top-notch communication skills
  • Consistent punctuality and dependability
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks according to office's needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks
  • Tech-savvy
  • Learn quickly on the job

Ideal candidates will have experience with project management at a construction company or related field and can remain professional in a demanding environment.

This position requires the ability to think and move quickly, communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.
