Litigation Paralegal

Greenberg Nikoloff is an industry-leading community association firm, representing hundreds of communities throughout the state on all matters pertaining to the operation of condominium and homeowners associations. The firm does a high volume of litigation in house, with two dedicated career litigators in our brand new Lutz office. This position will assist Mr. Gross and Mr. Grossman as the firm's lead litigation paralegal, handling a diverse caseload on both the plaintiff and defense side. Cases include deed restriction enforcement, breach of contract, construction defect, collections, property disputes, insurance claims and injunctions. The firm stresses a positive culture, work-life balance and a supportive team-based approach. This position will also be supported by the Dunedin paralegal team with more than 40 years of combined industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Legal and public record research
• Case management
• Draft and electronically file pleadings
• Coordinate and schedule calendars
• Prepare and respond to discovery
• Organize exhibits and documents for trial preparation
• Prepare correspondence to clients and opposing parties

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Litigation Paralegal, 5+ years preferable
• Highly organized
• Ability to work autonomously
• Knowledge of Microsoft based programs
• Knowledge of Florida e-file systems
