Job Description:

As a Front Desk Associate at La Quinta Inn in Amarillo, TX, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Greeting guests upon arrival and assisting with the check-in process in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Providing guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
  • Answering phone calls, responding to guest inquiries, and making reservations as needed.
  • Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
  • Assisting with luggage handling and coordinating guest services such as shuttle arrangements.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk area and lobby.
  • Collaborating with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Adhering to hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) may be advantageous.
