Duties and Responsibilities:
-Schedule service and preventive maintenance work, prioritizing tasks effectively.
-Provide logistical support for field service technicians, ensuring timely dispatch and completion of jobs.
-Process follow-up work required to finalize work orders.
-Distribute service job parts to the appropriate technicians.
-Handle customer inquiries via phone and create work orders accordingly.
-Collaborate with the Parts Coordinator to ensure smooth service flow, stepping in as needed.
-Perform other assigned tasks as required.
Skills:
- Exceptional Communication: Ability to interact positively with customers, vendors, and technicians, resolving issues promptly.
- Organizational Skills: Efficiently schedule service tasks, prioritize effectively, and coordinate technician logistics.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Identify and resolve issues swiftly to maintain workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Multitasking: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical installation preferred, experience with gas and diesel engines advantageous.
- Experience: Preferably 1 year in parts or scheduling.
- Additional Skills: Must have a valid Virginia Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform typical office tasks, including prolonged sitting, bending, and reaching. Must possess adequate visual, auditory, and communication skills for reading instructions, using computer hardware, and engaging in conversations.
Schedule/Pay: Monday-Friday, 6:30a-3:30p; starting at $18/hour depending on experience.
