Behavioral Health Supervisor/Clinician

The Behavioral Health Supervisor/Clinician at Anthony's Villa is responsible for overseeing the delivery of behavioral health services to children and adolescents in the community counseling setting. This position involves providing clinical supervision, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing therapy, and ensuring the highest standards of care.

The Behavioral Health Supervisor/Clinician plays a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive and effective behavioral health support.
SCOPEThe Behavioral Health Supervisor/Clinician reports to the Director, Outpatient Clinical Services, and works closely with other clinical staff. This role involves both supervisory and direct service responsibilities, ensuring that the clinical needs of our clients are met.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to mental health professionals and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Assessments: Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments for new clients to determine their behavioral health needs.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to behavioral health crises and provide appropriate intervention and support.
- Case Management: Oversee case management activities, including coordination of care with external providers and agencies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for clinical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to behavioral health services.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to monitor and improve the effectiveness of behavioral health services.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with residential staff, medical personnel, and other team members to provide holistic care to clients.
- Community Engagement: Engage with community resources and stakeholders to enhance the support network for clients and their families.
- Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director, Outpatient Clinical Services.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure as an LISW-S, LPCC-S, LIMFT-S or equivalent in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in behavioral health settings
- 1 year of supervisory experience, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and clinical best practices.
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills with children, adolescents, and families.
- Ability to manage and supervise clinical staff effectively.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
