About the role

The Customer Service Admin provides customer service to our clients through professional and effective email, telephone, text, and in-person communications. You will manage customer inquiries, including scheduling appointments, customer service issues, and questions. The role also includes a range of administrative tasks to support the customer’s journey from start to finish. To do well in this role, you must love serving people, have a great phone presence, be used to working in a CRM (Customer Relationship Management software), and follow processes to drive the best outcome for the customer and the business.

The Customer Service Admin has an integral role and must be people—and detail-oriented. We are open Monday through Saturday. This role requires you to work two Saturdays a month. This position is not remote.

Compensation

·         Hourly Rate:  $19-21 per hour, salary is based on relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcomes and directs visitors and customers who walk into the showroom
  • Responds promptly and professionally to inquiries received via telephone, email, SMS, or online chat, undertaking discovery and screening where necessary
  • Works heavily in the CRM and other document locations to maintain full records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
  • Undertakes scanning and maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of measure appointments
  • Keeps all marketing and promotional materials stocked.
  • Maintains the showroom areas in show-ready condition.  This includes stocking paper products in the restroom, light dusting of displays, and keeping floors clear of packages, debris, etc.
  • Works with and supports the Sales Support Specialist and Project Consultants as needed.
  • Cross-trains with the Sales Support Specialist and Production Coordinator to ensure work coverage if needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Experience in customer service and call-taking
  • Extremely proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Teams in particular)
  • Experience with CRMs a plus 
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to deal with customers, vendors, and other employees professionally, even in difficult situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be reliable and highly trustworthy
  • High School degree; general education degree, or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
