PAYROLL ASSOCIATE

Direct Hire role with our client located west of Pittsburgh, PA.

Work Environment: Hybrid (Expected to be 4 days in office, 1 day remote)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for bi-weekly payroll in a multi-state environment for a growing company
  • Monitor time card sheets with systems and ensure proper approvals
  • Reconcile and maintain bonus and commission payments were appropriate
  • Interface with employees regarding payroll matters and resolve any discrepancies
  • Ensure quarter-end and year-end reports are correct and accurate
  • Assist management of various projects and payroll reporting

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required; preferably in Accounting
  • 2+ years of related payroll/timekeeping experience
  • Ability to prioritize workloads with high attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, interacting with all levels of employees to executives
