THE POSITION:

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing & Junior Sign Estimator. This unique role combines responsibilities in both procurement and cost estimation, providing a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

Purchasing:

  - Manage and oversee the purchasing process for materials, supplies, and signage components.

  - Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.

  - Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

  - Collaborate with other departments to forecast material needs and manage budgets effectively.

  - Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

 

Junior Sign Estimator:

  - Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for signage projects by reviewing project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation.

  - Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing and availability of materials specific to signage.

  - Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure project feasibility and cost efficiency.

  - Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools for signage projects.

  - Prepare and submit detailed proposals and bid documents to clients.

  - Support senior estimators and purchasing team with various tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or cost estimation, preferably within the signage or construction industry.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and relevant software tools.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
