Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for producing high-quality x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist, ensuring clear and undistorted films. The ideal candidate will position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures, perform x-ray procedures using portable machines as requested by the Emergency Department and nursing units, and process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  2. Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
  3. Current license/certification in the state of practice, required.
  4. Possess a current Basic Life Support Certification, or obtain certification within one month of employment, required.
  5. At least one (1) year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department, preferred.

Physical Requirements

This role is based in Broomfield, Colorado, and requires a commitment to 40 hours of work per week. The hourly range for this position is between $7.25 and $999.99, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
