Location: Colorado Springs, CO Pay: $18 - $22 per hour DOE Job Type: Full-time

Store Hours: Monday – Saturday
Job Title: Mobility City Utility Associate

Job Summary:
Mobility City Utility Associates play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations in our showroom,
assisting with deliveries, setting up mobility equipment in customers' homes, and supporting our
marketing efforts in the community. This position requires a strong commitment to providing
excellent customer service both in-store, on the phone, and at customer locations. The role
involves recommending appropriate mobility solutions, instructing customers on equipment use,
supporting field technicians with deliveries, and actively participating in local marketing
initiatives.

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
• Must be based in Colorado Springs or adjacent community
• Provide exceptional customer service in the showroom by understanding customers' challenges and
recommending suitable mobility equipment solutions.
• Instruct customers on the proper use and maintenance of mobility equipment.
• Promptly follow up on web leads (form submissions) within 15 minutes of receipt.
• Answer phones promptly, respond to customer inquiries, make product recommendations, and process
payments to confirm orders.
• Assist field technicians by providing backup support, including assisting with
deliveries.
• Ensure the home environment is safe for delivery, installation, and use of mobility
equipment.
• Adhere to Mobility City procedures, utilizing tools such as QuickBooks Online, Method, Avochato,
and other related business software.
• Clean and sanitize equipment in accordance with Mobility City policies and guidelines.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances applicable to
you
and Mobility City.

Marketing Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in local marketing initiatives by distributing marketing materials to
various community partners including pharmacies, doctor offices, physical therapy offices, hotels,
hospitals, and non-profit organizations.
• Build and maintain relationships with these community partners to increase brand awareness and
foster potential business opportunities.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing feedback to management
to improve outreach strategies.
• Assist in organizing and participating in local events or health fairs as a representative of
Mobility City to promote products and services.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in continuing education and training sessions related to the products that Mobility
City sells, delivers, and services.
• Actively pursue Google reviews after every transaction to maintain a positive company
reputation.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Skills Required:
1. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
a. Ability to engage with customers and external stakeholders, including persuading or negotiating
in potentially sensitive situations. Proficiency in various communication methods is essential,
including selling skills, making formal recommendations, and working with manufacturer support
teams.
2. Leadership Skills:
a. Demonstrated willingness to take on roles with increasing levels of responsibility. Must be
comfortable with decision-making, coaching others, and inspiring confidence in customers and
stakeholders.
3. Technical Proficiency:
a. Competence with personal computers, including word processing, database management, and
spreadsheet software.
4. Analytical Ability:
a. Capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with mobility equipment, including evaluating
moderate to complex electrical components and systems to determine the cause and solution.

Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment:
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stretch, pull, push, and lift items weighing a minimum
of 50 pounds without assistance and potentially heavier weight with assistance. Capability to climb
stairs and drive a large van.
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Frequent communication with customers, families, co-workers, etc. Requires the ability to
exchange accurate information in given situations.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to
adjust focus.
• Some tasks involve client contact in the customer’s home, potentially exposing the employee to
dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, sleet, snow, temperature variations, electric
current, disease pathogens, and vermin.
