We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Valve Modification Quotation Specialist to join our team and deliver accurate and timely quotations for our valve modification projects.

Position Overview: The Valve Modification Quotation Specialist will be responsible for reviewing customer requests, assessing valve modification needs, estimating costs, and preparing comprehensive quotations. This role requires a deep understanding of valve components and modification processes, along with exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quotation Preparation: Review customer inquiries and specifications for valve modifications. Assess modification requirements, including materials, labor, and additional resources. Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for valve modification projects within specified timelines.

  • Cost Estimation: Collaborate with internal teams to estimate costs accurately, considering materials, labor, machining, and other necessary resources. Ensure that quotations align with company pricing policies and profitability goals.

  • Technical Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of valve components, modification techniques, and industry standards to accurately assess modification needs and provide technical insights to clients.

  • Customer Communication: Liaise with customers to gather additional information, clarify modification requirements, and address inquiries regarding quotations. Maintain professional and prompt communication to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of all quotations, modifications, and customer communications. Generate reports detailing the status of quotations, conversion rates, and any trends in customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in valve manufacturing, modification, or estimation in a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of valve components, modification processes, and associated costs.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation and quotation preparation.
  • Proficiency in using software tools or applications for estimation and documentation purposes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
