Job DescriptionJob Description

We are a family-owned small business looking for a committed Mobility Equipment Installer to join our team. This role involves installing and servicing various mobility devices, including ramps, cargo lifts, and stairlifts, to enhance the lives of our customers with mobility needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent mechanical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to safety and customer satisfaction.

 

Installation:

  • Install mobility equipment like ramps, platform lifts and stairlifts in homes and businesses.
  • Ensure installations comply with safety standards and building codes.

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with equipment.

Customer Service:

  • Schedule installations and service calls.
  • Handle customer questions and provide training on equipment use.

Documentation:

  • Maintain records of installations, repairs, and inventory.

Safety Compliance:

  • Follow safety protocols and educate customers on safe equipment use.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • Experience in installing and maintaining mobility equipment.
  • Strong mechanical skills, customer service skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift heavy items and work in various environments.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily on-site at residential and commercial properties.
