Lifetime Legal is a well-established women owned estate planning and probate law firm serving Thurston, Mason, and Lewis Counties. We are looking for an experienced paralegal to begin right away in either a part-time or full-time position. This position will work closely with and support one supervising attorney who practices in the areas of estate planning, estate settlement, and trust administration. This is not a remote position and will require presence in both the Olympia and Shelton offices.

A successful member of the Lifetime Legal team demonstrates enthusiasm, confidence, and authenticity. Additionally, they thrive in an environment that is collaborative.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years Probate Paralegal experience preferred

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with the team and clients.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Accounting/Bookkeeping Experience is a plus.

Experience with Clio or similar web-based client software program.

Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instruction given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple matters.

Skills Required:

Proven ability to e-file and e-record documents.

Comfort with client/other professionals during phone and in person interactions

Compassion and kindness for those who are grieving.

Typing WPM: 50+

Reliable, accountable, and willing to collaborate with others.

Must be an independent and self-motivated worker.

Ability to work with interruptions and flexibility to adjust to attorney needs.

Excellent analytical skills and an ability to effectively use both data and experience to make smart decisions.

Positive and professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Who is also a team player/collaborative and respectful with colleagues.
