Inventory Control Specialist (immediate opening)
- Monday through Friday
- Times 6am-2:30pm
- Starting Pay $27/hr.
We have an exciting new position with an immediate need for an Inventory Control Specialist. In this position you would be required to complete a high volume of cycle counting, spot checks, ability to follow annual inventory procedures, and trouble shoot issues as they occur.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Track issues and identify trends of physical inventory.
- Ability to articulate with commodity and hardware buyers to perform spot checks and evaluate or correct receiving.
- Review open and closed orders for accuracy for correct invoicing.
- Organize and able to track special orders, spot check and complete routine cycle counts.
- Timely review and the ability to conduct inspections of inventory receipts and supplier returns are being completed in a timely manner.
- Follow blue print of prep by execution of annual inventory working on new process as necessary and directed.
- Operate forklift when necessary.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate and work with various departments to create and promote a harmonious working relationships and environment.
- Basic inventory control procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Experience with Bistrack.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Organization skills and able to build relationship with outside vendors.
- Able to use basic math skills to problem solve
Other Areas Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Experience with computerized inventory experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Prolonged sitting and usage of computers.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds to 80 pounds when needed.
