Job Title:                     Sr. Sales Engineer

Department:               Sales

FLSA Status:             Exempt

 

Sales Responsibilities

·         Promote and sell Cannon products and technologies.

·         Define appropriate equipment specifications and evaluate Cannon USA capability to pursue specific customer or new technical applications.

·         Define selling price and sales terms

·         Prepare technical proposal

·         Meet with customers at manufacturing plants for contractual discussion and price negotiation

·         Prepare budget forecast

·         Reporting to sales management

·         Domestic travel as needed and occasionally international travel are required

 

Marketing Responsibilities

·         Search for new product lines and technologies to be introduced in the market

·         Meet regularly with key customers and raw material suppliers.

·         Visit new and existing customers to present new technologies.

·         Prepare technical presentations for seminars and trade shows.

·         Assist for the coordinating of trade shows and exhibitions.

·         Sporadically travel to Cannon Headquarter in order to transfer information about US market requirements,

 

Engineering & Controls Interface

·         Discuss customer drawings and specifications for timely and cost-effective development of accurate quotation data.

·         Collect equipment costs and specifications necessary to issue a quotation.

 

Project Management Interface

·         Provide engineering specifications required to adequately describe equipment sold, process requirements and scheduling.

·         Revise technical specification.

·         Discuss appropriate strategies to meet customer’s expectations.

·         Assist project Manager in contract changes negotiation.
