About the Role: Are you someone who enjoys staying active and on the move? Dive into a role that keeps you engaged and bustling throughout your shift. As a Warehouse Order Picker, you'll be integral in ensuring our operations run smoothly by picking orders with precision and efficiency. You'll use an RF scanner to navigate through various locations, picking bags of packaged products. Once you've completed an order, you'll wrap the pallet and prepare it for the next stage.
Your Responsibilities:
- Pick & Check: Receive and verify incoming pick tickets.
- Operate Cherry Picker: Confidently navigate our warehouse at heights up to 25 feet.
- Locate & Retrieve: Use advanced technology to find and pick products.
- Build & Position: Assemble pallets with orders and move them to loading docks.
- Wrap & Load: Securely wrap orders before loading them onto trucks.
- Re-stock: Replenish inventory manually or with warehouse equipment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of completed orders.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is well-maintained and report any malfunctions.
- Safety First: Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
Skills We Value:
- Proven experience as an order picker or in another warehouse role.
- Experience or certification in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Exceptional attention to detail and punctuality.
- Strong physical strength and stamina.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
